Brad L. Alling, age 49, of Amherst, died Friday morning, April 2, 2010, at home while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice.
He was born on May 26, 1960, in Tonepah, Nev., to Jarrel and Ann (Vitale) Alling and was a graduate of Oregon High School in Wisconsin.
Brad was a third shift sanitation supervisor at Golden County Foods in Plover for over 7 years.
He enjoyed art, cars, building birdhouses, fishing, hunting and being outside. He had a hard work ethic and was a loving father and grandfather.
Survivors include his son, Jeremiah (special friend, Jillian Kaczmarek) Alling of Amherst; two daughters, Lacy Alling of Plover, and Chey Alling of Rosholt; his parents, Jarrel and Ann Alling of Virginia, two brothers, Mitch Alling of Georgia, and Eric Alling of Virginia; sister, Desiree (Donald) Hintz of Colorado; and granddaughter, McKenna Smith of Plover.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point with the Rev. Bill Christiansen officiating.
