Tomahawk Wrestling Coach Retires

TOMAHAWK (WAOW) - After 32 years with the Tomahawk wrestling program, including 18 as the head coach, Bob Skubal is retiring.  The 60-year-old coach lead one last team banquet at the middle school Wednesday night.

In Skubal's time at Tomahawk, the Hatchets compiled a 328-64-1 record.  They produced 11 individual state champions, 46 individual conference champions, and placed 167 wrestlers on the all-conference team.

Skubal retired from teaching at Tomahawk 2 years ago.  Before coming north, he spent 6 seasons as a coach at Chilton.
