Minnesota school bus driver accused of assaulting girls

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- A northeastern Minnesota school bus driver is accused of sexually assaulting four elementary school girls who were his passengers.

St. Louis County sheriff's officials say the North Shore Community School students are between ages 6 and 10. The 62-year-old bus driver has been employed by the Lake Superior School District for 38 years. He's being held in the St. Louis County Jail.

Several North Shore Community School parents went to authorities after learning of the assaults from their children.

St. Louis County Sheriff Ross Litman says that schools are mailing letters to parents to see of there are other possible victims.
