2 teens killed in highway crash near Goodman

GOODMAN, Wis. (AP) -- Two teenagers are dead and two are in critical condition after a three vehicle crash on far northeastern Wisconsin near Goodman.

The Marinette County sheriff's office reports it happened about 7:45 a.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 8 near Goodman.

The sheriff's office says the road was slippery due to snow when an eastbound minivan driven by an 18-year-old skidded out of control and smashed into an oncoming pickup. The pickup went into a ditch but the minivan was then struck by a second pickup.

The impact ejected four of the seven people in the minivan. Two of them died, including 15-year-old Audrey Ipsa of Goodman and 18-year-old Brandon Goode of Armstrong Creek.

The other two are in critical condition in Green Bay Hospital. They are 14-year-old Rebecca Goode and 12-year-old Jacob Goode, both of Armstrong Creek.

Several other people were hurt, but none as seriously as those four.
