WAUSAU (WAOW) -- It's rummage sale season, and shoppers in Wausau were getting deals and helping an area church at the same time.
Trinity Lutheran hosted it's 2nd annual community rummage sale this weekend. Members of the congregation donated all the items, which filled more than 60 tables in the school's gym.
The money raised goes towards operating costs for the church and school.
"We have more things this year," explained coordinator Ralph Kresin. "We've had a great turnout. As my wife said, it's like the day after Christmas sale at Sears. Everyone comes storming in! We look to have a good sale again this year."
Last year, they raised more than $8,000. Kresin said all leftover items will be donated to charity.
