MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Tim Hudson kept pitching his way out of trouble and came inches shy of hitting a home run himself, helping the Atlanta Braves beat the Milwaukee Brewers 11-3 on Tuesday.
Troy Glaus went deep for the second straight night for the Braves, who will go for a three-game sweep of the Brewers on Wednesday afternoon. Eric Hinske doubled twice and drove in three runs.
Atlanta pounded out a season-high 16 hits in yet another demoralizing Miller Park loss for the Brewers, who slipped to a major league-worst 4-10 at home. Alcides Escobar had two hits and an RBI for Milwaukee, snapping an 0-for-17 skid.
