MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Brooks Conrad homered, doubled and drove in four runs while subbing for injured Chipper Jones, and the Atlanta Braves roughed up Milwaukee's bullpen once again to beat the Brewers 9-2 Wednesday for a three-game sweep.
With Jones out of the starting lineup because of a sore groin, Conrad hit a two-run homer in the eighth and added a two-run double off Trevor Hoffman in the ninth. Jones pinch-hit in the ninth and had an RBI double off Hoffman.
It was 2-all in the seventh when the Braves scored twice off reliever Manny Parra.
Another late-game outburst by the Braves squandered a solid start by Yovani Gallardo and continued the Brewers' woes at home. They are 4-11 at Miller Park this season.
