BOYD, Wis. (AP) -- The North Dakota man accused in a fatal shooting that authorities attribute to jealousy won't fight extradition from Minnesota to Wisconsin.
William Ball of Minot, N.D., is charged with fatally shooting 24-year-old Kyle Ryba and wounding his estranged wife, 18-year-old Stephanie Ball, at her father's home in Boyd, Wis., April 3.
Ball fled to Minnesota and turned himself in to authorities in Stillwater where he's being held in the Washington County Jail without bond.
During a hearing Wednesday, Ball indicated he wouldn't fight extradition. Chippewa County sheriff's deputies will make arrangements to bring Ball to Wisconsin.
Chippewa County Sheriff Jim Kowalczyk said earlier a love triangle may have led to the shooting.
