George P. Lutovsky


George P. Lutovsky, age 61, of Plover, formerly of Milwaukee and Rockford, Illinois, died early Friday morning, May 28, 2010, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital from natural causes.

He was born on June 9, 1948, in Rockford to the late Frank and Eunice (Belknap) Lutovsky and was 1966 graduate of Boylan High School and a 1974 graduate of Rock Valley College. From 1966-1971, George served honorably in the U.S. Navy. On Feb. 9, 1974, he was married to Diane Richter in Rockford.

George worked in information technology for Rexham Corporation, Teledyne Wisconsin Motors, Beatrice Cheese Company, Ideals Publishing and Fulton/Cequent Trailer Products.

He was an active member of VFW Post #10262, American Legion Post #543, and Moose Lodge #1572. George enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, sports, fishing, camping, singing and the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Lutovsky, of Plover; son, F. Joseph (fiancée, Lisa Vicker) Lutovsky of Stevens Point; daughter, Jennetta (Keith) Giese of Stevens Point; grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Joshua, Kira and Alexandria Lutovsky, and Devin Lutovsky and Jeren and Austin Giese; great-granchild, Gradey Ostrowski; brother, Gerald Lutovsky of Rockford; sister-in-law, Carol Lutovsky of Hudson. He is further survived by the extended family of the Lutovskys and Joseph and Rose Richter families.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by siblings, Ronald W. Lutovsky, Peggy Marie Lutovsky and Edwin Lutovsky.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 2911 Plover Road in Plover, with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
