WAUSAU (WAOW) -- The race for governor heats up. Mark Neumann fires off at primary opponent Scott Walker for not supporting concealed carry.
"In the last session of the legislature there were too different concealed carry that were proposed and were passed and were then vetoed by Jim Doyle. And I would have signed either one of those," said Neumann. So, folks have looked at this already in the state, it's passed both the Assembly and the Senate and it was vetoed by Jim Doyle and I certainly would handle it differently. I would sign it."
Meanwhile, Neumann claims Walker waivers on concealed carry saying he voted against legislation while he was in the Assembly.
Walker maintains he supports concealed carry legislation and would sign it if elected governor.
