
WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WAOW) - Nobody managed a run over the first 6 innings of play at Witter Field Friday night, but the visiting Woodchucks got the offense going in the 7th. Wisconsin scored 3 runs in the 7th inning and 2 more in the 9th, as they beat Wisconsin Rapids 5-1 in the first-ever meeting between the teams.
Travis Whitmore drove in 3 runs for the Chucks, with Brandon King accounting for the other 2.
