GREEN BAY (WAOW) - Packers head coach Mike McCarthy had good news for his players this afternoon. Their 3-day mandatory mini-camp has been cut to just 2 days. The coaching staff canceled all of Wednesday's activities, which were not scheduled to be open to the public.
The announcement means that players can start their 5-week "summer vacation" a day early. The next time they are required to be in Green Bay will be July 30th when training camp opens.
