Car stolen in Milwaukee with baby in back

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee police are looking for two men who stole a car with an 8-month old boy inside.

In a statement, Capt. Michael Dubis said the baby's mother had pumped gas and went to pay for it around 10 p.m. Sunday night, with the baby and a man still in the car. He says two males then punched the man, pulled him out and drove off with the baby in the back seat.

Someone ended up dropping the baby off about 35 minutes later at a police station. A woman had alerted officers to a baby on a squad's hood but by the time officers went outside the suspects were gone. The baby was unharmed and returned to his mother.

Police were still looking for the suspects and car Monday.
