Rapid ascent cited in SCUBA diving death

BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- A medical examiner report says the weekend death of one of two scuba divers who died was likely the result of surfacing too quickly in a central Wisconsin lake.

The Hennepin County, Minn., medical examiner says complications from rapid ascent probably caused the death of 60-year-old Milton Floyd of Minneapolis.

Jackson County sheriff's officials say a 57-year-old Eagan, Minn., man also died after surfacing at Lake Wazee near Black River Falls Saturday.  Authorities say he was pronounced dead at Black River Memorial Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Minnesota Public Radio reports a third man diving with the two was treated at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis and later released.
