(WAOW) - The Northwoods League All-Star Game is Tuesday, July 20th in Eau Claire. A trio spending their summers in central Wisconsin will represent our area's teams on the South Division squad.
Wisconsin Woodchucks Brandon King and Jayson McClaren will make the trip west. King leads the Chucks, and is 3rd in the league, in both batting average and doubles. McClaren has a 2-0 record with 2 saves and a 0.35 ERA. He's struck out 25 batters in 25 2/3 innings this year.
Cody Koback is the lone representative from the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. The UW-Stevens Point sophomore and SPASH grad is tied for his team's lead in hits, runs, homeruns, and at-bats. He's either tied for or alone in 2nd place in batting average, RBI, and doubles.
