LAS VEGAS, NV (WAOW) - The Bucks summer league team dropped their Las Vegas opener in overtime Monday night. Rodrigue Beaubois hit the game-winner for the Dallas Mavericks with under a second to play in the extra period. This came just 5 seconds after Deron Washington had given the Bucks the lead on a 3-pointer. The Bucks might have won in regulation, but J.R. Giddens hit another buzzer-beater to force OT.
Darnell Jackson lead the Bucks with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Washington chipped in 11 points. First-round draft pick Larry Sanders went 4-for-15, tallying 9 points, 7 boards, and 3 blocked shots.
