SPASH Grad Pieczynski to Play Volleyball at UWMC

(WAOW) - SPASH volleyball player Dana Pieczynski has committed to playing volleyball at the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County this fall.  Dana was a defensive specialist/outside hitter.

She was a three year varsity player and as a senior was Captain, MVP, 2nd Team All-Conference and named to the All-tournament team at the Merrill invite.  Dana also has been a member of the Wisconsin Ice volleyball club where she played for Newman head coach Betty Lange.

"I'm looking forward to having Dana join our program because she brings a lot of energy to the court.  She has a good jump float serve that will cause problems for our opponent and she covers a lot of ground in the back row with solid defense," said UWMC Head Volleyball Coach Matt Greenberg.
