MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Sen. Russ Feingold's campaign has raised more than $1.4 million in the second quarter of 2010.
That gives the incumbent Democrat more than $4.3 million cash on hand, about as much as his campaign reported three months ago.
The campaign also said Wednesday more than 18,000 donors contributed in the most recent quarter, with the average donation worth $52.
Feingold's campaign says the majority of contributions are from Wisconsin.
The 57-year-old Feingold will be challenged this fall by either Oshkosh manufacturer Ron Johnson or Watertown businessman Dave Westlake. The two Republicans will square off in a Sept. 14 primary.
Johnson and Westlake are also expected to release their fundraising numbers this week.
