WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WAOW)--The Wisconsin Rapids Police Chief is recommending mistreatment of animal charges against two men and one girl.
The charges have been forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney's office.
Police Chief Kurt Heuer says that witnesses found a severely injured kitten at a Wisconsin Rapids laundromat on July 9th. Authorities found the kitten in a bag in a garbage container.
No other details are available yet. No formal charges have been filed yet. Newsline 9 will not release the names of the accused until charges are filed.
