Oosthuizen wins first Open at -16; Stricker finishes at 2-over
ST. ANDREWS, Scotland (AP) -- Louis Oosthuizen has won his first major golf championship with a dominating seven-stroke victory at the British Open.
The South African started Sunday with a four-stroke advantage. It turned into a romp when his closest challenger, England's Paul Casey, took triple-bogey at the 12th. Oosthuizen (WUHST'-hy-zen) shot a 1-under 71 in the final round for a 16-under 272 total.

Wisconsin native Steve Stricker shot a final round 74 to finish at 2-over for the tournament.
