(WAOW) - Lakeland Union volleyball player Carol Falesch has committed to playing volleyball at the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County this fall. Carol is an outside and rightside hitter.
Falesch was a three year varsity player and has been named Co-Captain, All-Conference, Team MVP and Best Hitter. She was also a member of the Northern Wisconsin volleyball club.
"Carol is another athletic player that we're looking forward to having on the team this fall. She'll be exciting to watch because she's a natural leaper, which was demonstrated this past spring when she qualified for the WIAA Track and Field Championships in the high jump. She'll also be the third lefty on the team, providing us with some interesting looks on offense" said UWMC Head Volleyball Coach Matt Greenberg.
Carol is the daughter of Dale and Donna and plans to pursue a major in Dietetics.
