Storm strikes twice in town of Maine

TOWN OF MAINE, WAUSAU (WAOW) - 4,000 customers in Wausau alone are waiting for power to come back on.

Deanna Eckardt's home in the town of Maine is hit again.

She had just picked up the final logs this morning from last week's storm that also caused $30,000 damage to her roof.

Three trees, including a 60-footer, are knocked down.

It crushes a chicken coop and a gazebo.

Neighbors are pitching in as they clean up again.

Eckardt: "It's tough you know, we've got the trees down from the first storm, and everything. You know we were grateful and blessed to have made it through that. So it's just another round. I don't know the reason for it. It's just a beautiful area out here but out here the winds just pick up and when they hit they hit hard."

Eckerdt says a bedroom window was knocked in and a neighbor's garage door was pushed in three feet.
