Former warden to take over prisons post


MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A former prison warden will take over as Wisconsin Department of Corrections' deputy secretary next month.

Timothy Lundquist will his new job on Aug. 1. He replaces Ismael Ozanne, whom Gov. Jim Doyle has appointed to serve as the next Dane County district attorney.

Lundquist has served as warden at Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution since December 2009. He was set to retire on July 26 before he was named to the deputy secretary job.

Former Racine Correctional Institution Warden Robert Humphreys took over Kettle Moraine on July 6.
