(WAOW) - The PGA Championship is less than three weeks away from making its return to Whistling Straits and golf's final major of the season isn't the only thing making the trip back to the course.
More than 50 volunteers from Greenwood Hills golf club right here in Wausau have been selected as the hole marshals for the par 3 seventh hole at this year's PGA championship.
The group from Greenwood is the furthest group from Whistling Straits to be selected as hole marshals and this is the third time Greenwood has been in charge of a hole at major championship
The volunteers from Wausau are in charge of managing the crowds and finding badly hit balls and for those that have been there before there's not much that can compare to being close to the best golfers in the world.
