OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) -- The pilots who safely landed a disabled jet with 150 passengers in the Hudson River last year are appearing in Oshkosh on Thursday.
Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and Jeff Skiles will be at the Experimental Aircraft Association's annual Air Venture convention, talking about their experiences since the US Airways flight 1549 on January 15, 2009.
Skiles also will appear Friday with one of the accident investigators to talk about the aircraft recovery and accident investigation.
They are co-chairman of the EAA's Young Eagles Program, which allows children ages 8-17 to ride in a private plane.
Sullenberger will fly Young Eagles on Friday. Skiles flew them Monday in his Waco biplane.
