GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers are banged up coming out of the weekend's Family Night Scrimmage.
The Packers returned to practice on a hot Monday afternoon without 14 players from their 80-man roster because of various injuries.
The extensive list includes linebacker Clay Matthews, who went to the Pro Bowl as a rookie last season.
Coach Mike McCarthy says Matthews suffered a hamstring injury in the scrimmage at Lambeau Field on Saturday and will be out at least two weeks.
McCarthy also announced Monday that first-round draft pick Bryan Bulaga will compete for the starting job at left guard. Bulaga had been working behind veteran left tackle Chad Clifton.
