GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay Packers running back Ryan Grant returned to practice Tuesday, three days after sustaining a concussion in a preseason game.
Grant left the Packers' 27-24 loss to Cleveland after taking a hit to the left side of his helmet. He received medical clearance Tuesday and was back on the field for practice that night.
When Grant dropped a pass, a few teammates -- presumably joking, despite increased awareness about the potentially serious nature of head injuries -- yelled, "concussed!"
Also, oft-injured Packers defensive lineman Justin Harrell sat out Tuesday with what Packers coach Mike McCarthy described as tightness in his back.
