MADISON (AP) -- The writer of "Bride Wars" and "Saving Silverman" will be the celebrity judge for this year's Wisconsin Screenwriters Forum screenwriting contest.
This is the second year the nonprofit group has held the contest. The grand prize is an all-inclusive trip to Los Angeles for the Annual Screenwriting Expo in October 2011.
Greg DePaul wrote "Bride Wars" starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway, and "Saving Silverman" starring Steve Zahn and Jack Black. He will read the final three screenplays and pick the winner.
Last year's winners were from Milwaukee and Chicago. Dr. Fran Kaplan and Aaron Greer wrote "Fruit of the Tree," which was about the life of lynching survivor James Cameron.
Those entering have to be a Wisconsin Screenwriters Forum member. The deadline is Oct. 15.
It was all blue in Medford Monday, as the community sported the color in support of Autism Awareness Month.
