(WAOW) - Tomahawk's volleyball team looks ready for a return trip to state, at least early in this season.  The Hatchets went 3-0, including a 2-game victory over last year's division one state quarterfinalists from DC Everest, at the DCE Quadrangular on Tuesday.  Earlier in the day, Tomahawk debuted as the 4th-ranked team in division two according to the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association rankings.  Everest was an honorable mention in D1.  Rib Lake was ranked 4th in division four.

In the pool, Becca Weiland set a new school record in the 200 IM for Wisconsin Rapids.  She helped the Raiders to a 112-58 win over Lakeland.
