MADISON (AP) -- Federal wildlife officials need volunteers for a "plant posse" to search out invasive species on the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service asks posse members to pick up cameras and global positioning systems at the refuge headquarters in Winona, Minn.
Members then venture onto the refuge, photograph invasive species, mark their coordinates and enter the information later on the refuge's web site or Facebook page.
Warmer, more humid, and unsettled weather pattern develops next week.
