Multimedia Journalist
Bonnie joined the Newsline 9 Team in October 2010 as a Multimedia Journalist. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon in Eugene with a degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in communication studies. As a student, Bonnie reported, anchored and produced for campus television shows Duck U and Oregon News.
She also gained experience from multiple internships completed as an undergrad. Bonnie spent time at KATU in Portland, Oregon and KVAL in Eugene before heading to CBS News in New York City during the summer of 2009. While there, she worked with the Investigative Unit contributing to stories ranging from Bernie Madoff's sentencing to an in-depth investigation of the nation's rape kit backlog.
When she is not reporting, Bonnie enjoys spending time outdoors, watching old movies and following her favorite sports teams (Go Ducks!). Born and raised just outside Portland, Oregon, Bonnie is excited to move to the Midwest and call Wausau home.
