Multimedia Journalist
Anna joined the Newsline 9 Team in September 2010 as a Multimedia Journalist. She graduated from Brigham Young University double-majoring in broadcast journalism and theatre arts. At BYU, she reported and produced for the Daily News, an award-winning student-run newscast that is broadcast live across the entire state of Utah.
She started her journalism career by interning with WBNS in Columbus, Ohio over the summer of 2009. She also interned with KTVX in Salt Lake City for five months in 2010. During her internships, she also worked as a web producer and field produced stories with other reporters.
Over the summer of 2010, Anna reported for and produced a documentary for KBYU, the Utah PBS affiliate, called "Prescription for Failure." The half-hour production about prescription drug abuse in the state premiered in September 2010.
Anna is originally from Dublin, Ohio and she loves all Ohio sports teams – especially The Ohio State Buckeyes – and also cheers for the BYU Cougars. When she's not in the newsroom, Anna likes to run, do yogilates and invent new recipes.
