Internet Director
Katie joined the Newsline 9 Team in January 2007 as a producer, content manager and now internet director.
She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies. While at UWSP, Katie traveled to Japan for two months to work with Japanese students on their conversational English.
She started her career by interning in the district office of a U.S. Senator. She also worked for a U.S. Congressional Representative.
During the spring of 2009, Katie traveled to Morocco for a month as part of a U.S. delegation of young professionals. While she was there, she shared information about North Central Wisconsin, the American media environment. She also learned a lot about Moroccan businesses and media and boned up on her French.
When she's not in the newsroom, Katie is working on her Master's Degree from George Washington University. She also likes to travel, keep up with the political issues of the day and roller skate.
