Wausua(WAOW)--You can't just feel the wind, you can see it.
Some areas in Wisconsin have experienced tropical storm force-like winds.
With gusts into the sixty mile an hour range, high winds ripped the front of a barn off and caused a power outage at Hewitt-Texas Elementary School in Wausua, closing the school for the day.
With so much destruction, some are trying to make the best of the situation.
"I think the first year we had one pine tree in a wind storm, and it fell down. Then we cut off a bunch of pine trees and low and behold, the only one we left is the one that fell on my truck," Mosinee resident Dan Vils said. "Now I don't have to worry about that anymore."
