Wisconsin Looks to Replace Star Guards

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin's biggest asset in its run of success over the last 10 seasons has been coach Bo Ryan and his defense-oriented system.

The stability at the top has allowed the Badgers to weather the loss of key players each year to graduation, including recent starters Jason Bohannon and Trevon Hughes.

High-scoring forward Jon Leuer is back along with guard Jordan Taylor and forward Keaton Nankivil as the Badgers look for their 13th straight NCAA tournament appearance, one of the longest streaks in the country.

Wisconsin is big and has depth in the front court with seven players who are 6-foot-8 or taller and three more who are 6-6. But the Badgers must find a reliable point guard to replace Hughes and feed the post.
