Exilda Mary (nee Rockman) Stone


Exilda Mary (nee Rockman) Stone, age 85, Wittenberg, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at her home. She was born on April 5, 1925 in the Town of Wittenberg, Shawano County, the daughter of the late Grover and Bessie (White Eagle) Rockman. She was a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation and Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. Mary enjoyed Bible Study, all types of sewing crafts, Master Ho-Chunk Basketry, language and customs and loved to shout "BINGO". In addition to her husband, Robert Stone, survivors include her children, Jeremy P. Rockman, EDD, Black River Falls, Shirley (Harold) Petersen, Elderon, David (Susan) Radtke, Sheboygan, Cynthia Radtke, Wittenberg, Sandrea (Keith Hustedt) Radtke, Rothschild, Connie (Richard Grandell) Radtke, Schofield, Steven (Venus Morgan) Radtke, Merrill and Robin (Wendy Walker) Stone, Muskegon, MI; 27 Grandchildren; and 37 Great-Grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Gloria Matha Mabugu, a son, Timothy Radtke, six brothers and four sisters.

The funeral service will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Rockman Stone residence, Witt-Birn Townline Rd., Wittenberg. Mr. Wayne Falcon will officiate. Interment will be in the Rockman Family Cemetery, Wittenberg. Vistitation will be continuous until the time of service at the residence.
