UPDATE: 17-year-old stabbed on Milwaukee school bus

Posted:

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A 17-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after being stabbed on a school bus in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee Public Schools spokeswoman Roseann St. Aubin says three males got onto a yellow bus with 28 students around 8:15 a.m. Friday and sought out the 17-year-old and started arguing. She said the victim ended up with three stab wounds on his right side, two on his leg and one on his torso.

She says the suspects fled the bus. St. Aubin says the victim was in satisfactory condition. The bus was bound for Bay View High School.

Police Sgt. Gregg Duran said it does not appear to be a random act and police are still looking for suspects.
