COLBY (WAOW)- The Colby football team finds itself one win away from a second Division Five state title in three seasons.
The Hornets will face Brillion at 4pm tomorrow.
Expect another tough defensive effort from this team, which has already shut out two teams in these playoffs.
That includes a state semifinal blanking of Bonduel, who came into that matchup averaging over 42 points per game.
Says Defensive Coordinator Jim Hagen, "All year long it seems like the bigger the game, the better they play. We've talked all year about playing sound, fundamental, physical team defense, everyone needs to know their responsibilities on the field."
Says Head Coach Jeff Rosemeyer, "They're really adopted the philosophy that if I do my job, and the other guy does his job that we can play pretty good team defense."
Says Senior Jeremy Rahm, "Our defense has carried us all year long, hopefully we can keep it up."
