Man accused of driving down deer on snowmobile found guilty of homicide
WAUPACA COUNTY (WAOW) -- The Weyauwega man accused of running down deer on his snowmobile in 2009 has been found guilty of drunk driving homicide.
According to a press release from the Attorney General, Rory Kuenzi ran over a man, carried his body off the road and left him for dead in 2004. Kevin McCoy, 54, was found dead just north of State Highway 54 in the town of Farmington.
According to the release, a witness testified being with Kuenzi the night of the accident and helping him remove the body from the road.
Kuenzi will be sentenced after an investigation by the Department of Corrections.
Additionally, Kuenzi is awaiting the jury trial in the "thrill kill" case. Several charges are also brought against Kuenzi after deer were run down on snowmobiles, tied to trees and killed.
