ROTHSCHILD (WAOW) -- Muggles who weren't lucky enough to catch the midnight showing last night came to see their favorite wizard on the big screen.
People lined up at the Cedar Creek movie theatre Friday morning, excited to catch the first showing of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows" at 11:45 AM. Even though some said it wasn't quite the same as seeing it at midnight, they said watching it first thing in the morning is the next best thing.
"This morning we were driving around just in anticipation knowing we were coming to see it. You could almost feel it in the air...that was weird. But you know, almost good," said Matthew Miller, an avid Harry Potter fan.
People said they enjoyed the energy of watching the movie with other excited theatre-goers. And the broomsticks in the corner of the theatre may have been an indication of how some people traveled there.
