2 sisters charged in stabbing of Milwaukee boy

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Two sisters have been charged in the stabbing death of a 15-year-old Milwaukee boy.

Davit Burton was killed Wednesday night.

Sixteen-year-old Jershonte E. Jackson was charged as an adult Friday with first-degree reckless homicide while her sister, 18-year-old Kizuwanda L. Dison, was charged with one count of felony murder while committing battery.

According to the criminal complaint, the sisters told police the trouble started after the victim and Jackson's former boyfriend came to their home to get some shoes, and started making jokes about their house.

They told police Burton struck Dison in the eye, and Dison then swung at him with a cooking pan. Jackson told police she then got a kitchen knife and stabbed Burton in the back. As Burton lay wounded, Dison admitted hitting him in the face two or three times with the pan.
