ROTHSCHILD (WAOW) -- A jolly time for families and their stuffed animals this weekend in Rothschild. The Festival of Tree's annual Teddy Bear Breakfast took place on Saturday and Sunday.

Kids got to visit Santa, meet with Bruce the Spruce the talking tree, and mom and dad even got to eye some items in a silent auction.

But best of all, everyone got to enjoy a nice breakfast and atmosphere.

"We often say that the festival of trees is a celebration of life. And by attending the Teddy Bear Breakfast specifically, it allows families to be together, which is what we want especially at Christmastime and it allows people to enjoy themselves by contributing to a good cause," says festival chair Wendy Furrer.

The Festival of Trees supports Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

The festival ended Sunday. Click here to learn more about the program.
