WAUSAU (WAOW) -- Christmas is coming, and at Willow Springs Garden in Wausau, they're celebrating the old fashion way. Visitors are welcome to make crafts, ornaments, and enjoy live music and food.
They also allow folks to explore the grounds and even enjoy a wagon ride.
Staff say they hold the festival to create new memories for families during the holiday season.
"Making the crafts, making them feel at home. Making them feel welcome and that they have an enjoyable time and that it's a good memory; something they would want to come back and do again with their kids some day," says Peggy Griffin, manager of Willow Springs.
She also says a stop at the festival allows families to take a break from the hustle of the holidays, and enjoy the season without distractions.
All of the proceeds from the festival go to help restore an old barn on the property.
