WAUSAU (WAOW) -- Every month, the Wake Up Wisconsin Crew surprises one deserving classroom with 300 dollars to to help them with a project. This month's winner of our Tools for Schools promotion is the special education class at Lincoln Elementary School in Wausau.

Cognitive Disabilities teacher, Marion Sells, says there is a great need for handicap accessible playground equipment at the school. She says "We have one swing on the playground. That's all we have. We'd like to get another swing. We'd like to get a tube that kids can climb through, we'd like to make some modifications on the equipment."

Mrs. Sells puts a lot of emphasis on exercise. She says it's a great way to socialize and make friends with other students. Her class agrees and expresses their gratitude as well.

Tools for Schools is sponsored by River Valley Bank, Courtesy Motors, and of course Newsline 9.
