MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Craig Smith scored twice on the power play as Wisconsin rallied to beat Bemidji State 3-2 Friday.
Smith's first goal late in the first period pulled the Badgers (9-7-3, 5-6-2 Western Collegiate Hockey Association) within a goal. The Beavers (5-9-1, 4-8-1) had taken a 2-0 lead on goals by Radoslav Illo and Jordan George.
Podge Turnbull netted the equalizer at 12:12 of the second. Smith got the game-winner just two minutes into the third period.
Wisconsin goalie Scott Gudmandson made 11 of his 25 saves in the third period.
Bemidji State's Dan Bakala also had 25 stops.
