Impressive Christmas lights in Antigo

By Bonnie Shelton

ANTIGO (WAOW)--For many families it's a Christmas tradition. Driving from house to house to see the different lights. But be warned, after you see this house, you might feel bad about your own outdoor decorations.

For the past six years, Jerry Dewan and his wife have been lighting up the neighborhood.

"We have about 45,000 lights," said Dewan.

Along with the show, drivers can tune in to FM radio station 107.1 to hear music that accompanies the choreographed lights.

Bobbie and Billie Novak were impressed. "It's really cool," said Bobbie.

You might think all those lights would mean a skyrocketing electric bill. Not so, said Dewan.

"It's surprisingly not too bad because they're not all on all the time. So, you notice it but it's not as bad as one might think."

The home is located on Freiburger Avenue in Antigo.
