UPDATE: Adams County man assigned public defender in murder case


UPDATE - A public defender was assigned to the case of an Adams County man accused of murdering his mother. 

Larry Clark will be represented by James Connell.  Connell is the fourth attorney to work with Clark.

Clark's trial was scheduled to start September 24, 2012 but he did not have a lawyer after Gary Kryshak withdrew as counsel.

Clark is charged with 1st degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse.  He is also facing seven other charges.


ADAMS COUNTY (WAOW)--The man accused of murdering his mother an hiding her body is scheduled to enter pleaded not guilty to those charges. Larry Clark's arraignment hearing was Monday morning in Adams County.

Clark is charged with first degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse as well as two counts of giving false information regarding a missing person. He also faces of using his mother's identity to obtain money.

Marcella Clark disappeared back in July. Investigators found her body months later on her property. An autopsy showed she died from a gunshot wound to the back.

Clarks's next court date isn't yet scheduled.
