Child of murdered Lincoln County woman awarded $1.8 million in damages
LINCOLN COUNTY (WAOW)--The young child of a slain Irma woman is awarded $1,830,355.65 in damages after a wrongful death suit is settled.
Rochelle Anderson, 25, was murdered in March of 2008 while working at a gas station in Tomahawk. An attorney filed the civil suit against Derek Domke in February 2010 on behalf of Anderson's 4-year-old child, whose name Newsline 9 is choosing to withhold because she is a minor.
In October 2008 Domke, 20, pleaded guilty to being a part of Anderson's death but claimed he didn't act alone. He was sentenced life in prison with a chance at parole after 45 years.
