REPORT: Lincoln County teen arrested attempting to sell drugs
LINCOLN COUNTY (WAOW)--According to a report, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Merrill teen, accusing the 16-year-old of possession with intent to deliver oxycodone.
Authorities arrested the teen last week Monday, after he attempted to meet up with another teen to sell the drug, according to the report. Earlier in the day, the Merrill School Resource Officer investigated after someone said the teen had prescription medication on school property and was trying to sell them. According to the report, the officer didn't find any drugs.
However, later that evening someone called deputies, saying the teen arranged to meet at a business in Gleason to sell the drugs to another teen. When the two arrived, deputies arrested the 16-year-old. Authorities brought him to the Marathon County secure juvenile detention center. According to the report, he will be charged in juvenile court.
