ORFORDVILLE, Wis. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a man after a woman's frozen, snow-covered body was found in a ravine in southern Wisconsin.
Racine County Sheriff Bob Spoden tells The Janesville Gazette the 47-year-old man was arrested at his business in Racine.
Tuesday's arrest came after authorities positively identified a woman's body found in Rock County as that of a woman who was reported missing in Racine County.
A property owner found the body Monday near Orfordville. Authorities at first did not know the woman's identity but were treating the death as a homicide.
During an autopsy the body was identified as that of 33-year-old Kristin Miller. Miller was last seen on Jan. 1 and was listed as a missing person by the Sturtevant Police Department.
